EES Board Member Elections 2011 Results

Dear EES Members,

Following the elections for new EES Board Members, which are now successfully completed, we would like to congratulate and welcome Kim Forss (SE), Liisa Horelli (FI) and Barbara Befani (IT) as our new elected EES Board Members. We would also like to thank very much Luc Lefebvre, Ana Maria García Femenía, Lut Mergaert and Julia Brummer for accepting their nominations and for their willingness to contribute to the EES. We have asked all of them to remain active for the EES in spite of their non-election to the EES Board. Last but not least, we would also like to thank all nearly 100 EES members who casted their ballots.

In total 93 EES members casted their ballot (outturn of 25%), giving in total 240 votes for the 7 candidates (there was no obligation to provide three votes). The three elected members together received a majority of 140 votes.
