General Inspection of Finance (IGF)
The General Inspection of Finance’s mission is the control of the State’s financial administration covering the budget, economic, financial and patrimonial domains, in accordance with the principles of legality, of regularity and sound financial management, as well as providing specialized technical support to the Ministry of Finance.
Our financial activities include the following entities:
- Public Sector (all public central administration departments and agencies as well as municipalities);
- State and municipal enterprises
- Private sector (financed by national and/or EU funds)
- European Commission national focal point for audit and financial control as well as for the protection of EU financial interests.
Adding value to public management is our ultimate goal.
