Addressing the extraordinary global challenges the world faces today requires innovative and transformative ideas and solutions. The younger generation, with their bold voice and action, is already significantly contributing to COVID-19 recovery, climate action and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. It is time the evaluation community proactively seized the power of youth by recognizing and committing clear and concerted actions to enhance real and meaningful engagement of youth in evaluation.

In support of this idea, we are excited to welcome you to the launch of #Eval4Action’s latest advocacy effort ‘Youth in Evaluation’, on 23 May 2022 (register for the launch event here). Please note it is not necessary to be a #Eval4Action partner to join the drive and its launch.

The ‘Youth in Evaluation’ drive urges governments, parliamentarians, VOPEs, United Nations agencies, evaluators, academia, the private sector, and the development sector at large, to sign a digital manifesto to commit to driving and sustaining meaningful youth engagement in evaluation. This global launch event also marks the second anniversary of Eval4Action.

Additional information on how you can participate in the drive, mobilize your partners and support its outreach together with your new #Eval4Action regional communication hub is available here. The event details will be available shortly. For any further information, please reach out to contact@eval4action.org. We look forward to your active support and participation in #Eval4Action ‘Youth in Evaluation’.
