Network of European Evaluation Societies (NESE)

NESE is the collaboration of Network of Evaluation Societies in Europe. NESE was created in 2008. The work is moderated jointly by an EES Board member and a national evaluation society on an annually rolling basis. In NESE national societies co-operate towards developing mutual knowledge, learning from one another’s good practices, and promoting the evaluation profession in European countries. Currently, the societies hold annual meetings, carry out a regular monitoring survey, and discuss a series of good practice cases, see links below.

The works are moderated jointly by a EES Board member and a national evaluation society on an annually rolling basis: French Evaluation Society (2009), DeGEval (2010), Italian Evaluation Society (2011), UK Evaluation Society (2012). At the NESE meeting on 2nd October 2014, in Dublin, Ireland it was agreed that the NESE group will be jointly coordinated for the next period by the Czech Evaluation Society and Slovak Evaluation Society.

NESE Annual Conference Calendar is a joint initiative of the NESE members with the aim to share the dates and further details of the Annual and Biennial Conferences of the national evaluation societies.
